Vietjet has once again secured a place in the top ten of AirlineRatings' World's Safest Low-Cost Airlines for 2024, affirming the airline's unwavering commitment to safety since the list's inception.
Vietjet, alongside other distinguished low-cost carriers, has consistently received recognition in AirlineRatings' rankings for several years. This recognition serves as a testament to their unwavering dedication to upholding flight safety, which is an indispensable standard in the aviation industry.
AirlineRatings.com Editor-in-Chief Geoffrey Thomas said: “Vietjet's dedication to maintaining a culture of safety across all aspects of operations is commendable, especially when it is actively expanding the flight network.”

Vietjet is also rated seven-star level, the highest ranking for aviation safety in the world since 2018.
Vietjet has continuously added new aircraft to its modern and fuel-efficient fleet, with technical reliability at 99.72%, which is among the top operators in the world. The airline is constantly investing in training, aircraft engineering and MRO services to ensure the highest standard in terms of safety and quality.
In recent moves, Vietjet Aviation Academy (VJAA) has officially become a training partner of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) to ensure a high-quality aviation workforce. In addition, Vietjet and Lao Airlines have joined forces to operate an aircraft maintenance centre at Wattay International Airport in Vientiane, Laos. This collaboration enhances the airline's proactive approach to aircraft maintenance management.
Vietjet has a fleet of 102 Airbus aircraft and is expanding its flight network actively. In just one month of December 2023, the airline has introduced five new international routes including the Ho Chi Minh City – Shanghai, Phu Quoc – Busan, Hanoi – Jakarta, Hanoi – Siem Reap and Hanoi – Hong Kong.
The airline is poised for future growth as it strategically expands its fleet and flight network in the upcoming years.
